A short game about a frog's adventure through realms and ascending to godhood. Created by a team of 6 with the goal of creating a vertical slice in 2 months. In this project I learned how to effectively use the Unity Engine and write code in C#, as well as communicating abstract ideas through visual and written mediums. 

Design Accomplishments:

  • Designed, whiteboxed, and decorated 4 themed levels.

  • Implemented immersive sfx.

  • Wrote dialogue befitting of the NPC's.

  • Create working menu UI's.

Responsibilities:

  • Co-Director and sole designer. 

  • Wrote most of the GDD.

  • Code and implement SFX.

  • Rapidly generate levels in a modular fashion to start playtesting and set dressing as soon as possible.

Froskr's Ascent Trailer

Marketing for Froskr's Ascent by me using Adobe Premiere and OBS. Pictures below are concept drafts and screenshots from development in Unity Engine by me. I wanted each realm to fit the theme and personality of the 3 guardians who hinder Froskr's ascension. I ended up changing old Norse tales of Yggdrasil and its realms to create the world of Froskr's Ascent.
